Windows installation steps
Windows installation
Extract everything.
Use an extractor that supports AES-encrypted ZIP files. Enter the ZIP password from the same order and extract the complete folder, including Offline-Engine.zip.
Save and close Premiere.
Save your project and close Premiere normally before replacing the panel. Run the installer from the extracted folder, not from inside the ZIP.
Run the included installer.
Open Install-EditBento.cmd and let the installer finish. If Windows prevents it from opening, contact support with the exact message.
Activate and make a test edit.
Reopen Premiere, choose Window → Extensions → EditBento, then activate using your customer credentials. Start with a disposable saved project and check the connected sequence.
Mac installation
Download your package.
Open customer access using your order email. Download the Mac ZIP and wait for it to finish. Keep your personal ZIP password private.
Extract everything.
Use an extractor that supports AES-encrypted ZIP files. Enter the ZIP password from the same order and extract the complete folder, including Offline-Engine.zip.
Save and close Premiere.
Save your project and close Premiere normally before replacing the panel. Run the installer from the extracted folder, not from inside the ZIP.
Run the included installer.
Open Install-EditBento.command and let the installer finish. If macOS prevents it from opening, contact support with the exact message.

IF SOMETHING GETS IN THE WAY
Get back to the edit.
The ZIP will not extract.
Check that the download completed, use the password belonging to that order and an AES-compatible ZIP extractor. Download again if it is incomplete. Contact support with the filename and error, never the password.
The panel is missing or blank.
Confirm you extracted the full package and ran the installer with Premiere closed. Reopen Premiere and check Window → Extensions. If it is still missing, send your operating system, Premiere version and exact message to support.
The panel cannot connect to Premiere.
Open the installed extension inside Premiere, not its HTML file in a browser. Save and open a project. If the panel reports a command was not confirmed, inspect the timeline before retrying.
The speech or music engine needs repair.
Keep Offline-Engine.zip beside the installer. Save and close Premiere, then rerun the installer from the complete extracted download. If repair still fails, contact support with the installation log and exact error.
I need a different computer.
One license covers one registered computer. Contact EditBento with your order reference for an approved device transfer before activating the new machine.
