THE EDITBENTO FIELD GUIDE

LESS GUESSING.
MORE DOING.

Find your workspace. Follow the steps. Make the final creative call.

Start with installation ↗
01

Auto Cut

Find the story first.

  1. Save a test copy of your project. Select one video clip with embedded audio, playing forward at normal speed.
  2. Transcribe locally, review the words and adjust the pause threshold. Choose which sections stay.
  3. Create the cut as a new sequence, then review timing and rebuild any source effects or framing you need.

One selected clip, up to 30 minutes. Existing effects, separate music, synced external audio and sequence framing are not copied.

Subtitles

Give the words their own style.

  1. Import an SRT, or select supported timeline clips and choose transcription. Review names, spelling and timing.
  2. Compare the 18 subtitle looks. Adjust text, colors and placement; use the Arabic-English review controls when needed.
  3. Apply styled captions in automatic batches or use native caption import. Review every cue before exporting the reel.

Timeline transcription supports up to 50 selected, non-overlapping clips and 60 minutes per batch at normal speed. Rendered styled artwork and native captions have different editing options.

Graphics

Build an animated message.

  1. Choose a graphic direction and enter your headline, supporting text and client colors.
  2. For checklists or steps, add and edit up to 12 individual bullets. Choose a transparent overlay or a card background.
  3. Set entrance, exit, duration and easing. Replay the preview, then place the artwork and inspect its native Premiere keyframes.

Artwork is rendered; it is not an After Effects project or a fully editable MOGRT. Position, Scale and Opacity animation remains editable in Premiere.

Frames

Finish the composition.

  1. Choose one of 12 frame looks and match the sequence dimensions.
  2. Set your entrance and exit motion, then preview the transparent overlay before placing it.
  3. For a swipe transition, select exactly two touching video clips on unlocked tracks and choose the direction.

Swipes refuse existing Position animation. Keep the finished frame clear of platform interface elements and review it at export size.

Keyframes

Keep the movement editable.

  1. Select the intended clip and the property you want to animate.
  2. Choose a motion direction and review the effect on your selected clip.
  3. Open Effect Controls to inspect and adjust the native keyframes. Preview the full shot before moving on.

Check existing animation and track locks first. Apply to a disposable copy while learning the controls.

Layout

Give the picture room.

  1. Set the target sequence format and select the clip you want to frame.
  2. Choose the layout or placement that suits the subject.
  3. Check the full shot, text placement and edges before applying the same look to other footage.

Framing needs editorial review, especially when a subject moves or the source aspect ratio changes.

Audio

Bring the dialogue forward.

  1. Select a supported source clip and choose a cleanup mode such as Clean, Studio, Warm or Noise Rescue.
  2. Run the local voice process. A separate mono 48 kHz WAV is created for listening review.
  3. Compare the original and processed voice, then adjust levels and fades in the sequence.

This is local editorial cleanup, not the Adobe Enhance service. Listen for artifacts; processing quality depends on the recording.

Music

Keep the track with the project.

  1. Use a direct audio URL, public YouTube video or public Instagram reel you own or have permission to use.
  2. Save the Premiere project and run Music Intake. The audio and source reference are saved beside it.
  3. Review the audio placed on a clear track, then set your edit, levels and fades.

Private, protected or platform-blocked sources may need an authorized local audio file. A source link does not grant music usage rights.

Create

Find the missing creative layer.

  1. For SFX, describe a supported editing sound such as a whoosh, impact, pop, riser, glitch or chime. Listen to the local preview.
  2. For B-roll, search the included Pixabay library and choose your orientation. Review the result and its source license.
  3. Save the sound or clip beside the project and place it at the playhead. Review the track and timing.

Local SFX needs no API key. Included B-roll search requires activation and internet; the customer does not supply a provider key.

Clients

Start the next brief ahead.

  1. Create or open the client library and set its brief, colors and preferred spellings.
  2. Save the caption, graphic, voice and cutting preferences as a client recipe.
  3. Load the recipe on the next job and check that the settings suit the new footage.

Client recipes save settings, not editorial judgment. Review every imported or generated asset for the current brief.

Variations

Build a consistent set.

  1. Prepare the base graphic and confirm the client look.
  2. Load your supported CSV variations and check the text in each row.
  3. Preview the outputs, then create the versions you need and check for long or clipped text.

A shared layout still needs review for different headline lengths and mixed-language copy.

Project

Hand off with fewer missing files.

  1. Save the project, run preflight and review missing-media warnings.
  2. Use Grab Footage to collect ordinary file-backed sources from the active timeline beside the project.
  3. Review the written manifest and any optional relinking before archiving or handing off the project.

Nested sequences, generated media, offline items and image sequences may need separate handling. Use Premiere Project Manager for broader consolidation.
